No Bank Connections. Ever.
Most finance apps ask you to hand over your bank credentials to a third-party aggregator. They store your login, scrape your transactions, and hope the connection doesn't break, or leak.
Autonomy Ledger doesn't connect to your bank. We don't use Plaid, Yodlee, or any similar service. We don't know your account numbers, your actual balances, or your real transaction history.
We can't leak what we don't have. Every number in Autonomy Ledger is something you chose to type. That's a fundamentally different, and safer, relationship with your financial data.
How We Protect You
We Only Keep What's Necessary
Your email and the financial data you choose to enter. That's it. We don't collect anything beyond what's needed to run the service.
Everything Is Encrypted
Your data is protected whether it's being sent to our servers or sitting in our database. It's unreadable to anyone who isn't supposed to see it.
Your Sessions Are Locked Down
Your login session is stored in a way that no script on the page can touch it. This blocks the most common ways attackers try to hijack accounts.
Your Password Is Unreadable
We never store your password in plain text. It's scrambled using industry-standard methods, so even we can't see it.
No Tracking. No Ad Scripts.
We don't use analytics trackers, retargeting pixels, or any third-party scripts that follow you around the internet. Your activity on our site stays on our site.
Sovereignty Over Your Financial Data
We believe your financial data belongs to you. Not to advertisers. Not to data brokers. Not to us beyond what's necessary to run the service you pay for.
That's why we charge a subscription. Our business model is aligned with your interests: we make money when you find the service valuable enough to keep paying for it. We don't make money by selling your data, serving ads, or harvesting your attention.
When a product is free, you're the product. When you pay for Autonomy Ledger, you're the customer. That distinction matters.
